James Bailey has turned us down once so not sure he'd be worth pursuing. I'd like either or both the Baileys from Lancaster along with Barnes, Sloan & Nico but that's probably wishful thinking. come on redray why do we need another player that will costs us a fortune to sit on the bench. Just leave him at Lancaster he done nowt last time he was here

Fitzpatrick & Hetherington if they are released by Carlisle but not sure on Allen. Also Kai Nugent if released could maybe provide that bit of culture if/when Connor finishes. After last Mondays performance I would imagine Mr. Fell probably has 6 or 7 in mind from Lancaster if the finances allow. James Bailey (Kendal) might also be worth a look How many times have you seen Allen? I thought he was excellent in his 1st 2 appearances at BP. Unbelievably physical for his age (still only 17)! Wasn't as good Monday but the whole team were shocking. We could do with 1 or 2 tougher players in our squad imo. But ones that can also play.

Dont get me wrong Popside I agree with you on Allen & the physical attributes he could bring to the team, I am just not convinced that he would add to the team football wise. Also think he could spend quite a bit of time suspended unless those attributes can be improved on. Just my opinion & believe me if he came to us I would love to be proved wrong.

A fit Nico Evangelinos would walk into Reds team.

Yeah I wouldnt make him a priority but we definitely need more goals and threats. Without Dav I dread to think how this season would have gone. Kofi Moore was a big miss imo too.

Agree about Kofi Moore he was a player with goals in his game as well as other stuff. Again travel and budget came into the equation a factor Reds have to work with while still being a big part of the West Cumbrian community. If onlynthere was a simple answer

My priority would be a commanding centre half. We must have one of the smallest teams in the league and always look susceptible at set pieces.

.... but not sure on Allen. Jake Allan is the best prospect of the three. (Loves a tackle)

Has anyone actually confirmed that they're leaving at the end of the season, other than Grainger and Tinnion?
Or are we just assuming the travelling players won't be back?

IMO Mark Fell has been in the game too long to not have his own ideas and processes, good on him to attend these end of season games to form his own opinions who he may or may not retain for next season. If some of the current players do not want to be here next season that's OK, we move on. I think we will be watching a different team next season in both playing personnel (subject of course to finances) and tactics. Glad to see the back of this season and role on the next - COYR.
