Just reading in the Times and Star that Reds are at Court regarding the Ground Safety Certificate which the Council have still not granted and could have huge ramifications if they win the case on Tuesday. Thanks to ABC and great season on the field could go Tits up.

I've been told the court hearing on Tuesday will not determine the out come of the safety cert. also the safety certificate has nothing to do with ABC it's the county council.

Good old health and safety, so as it stands the county council said back in November that the covered stands should have a zero capacity as they are unsafe. Since then these areas have been used constantly with no issues, let's have some common sense in the decision

Since then these areas have been used constantly with no issues, let's have some common sense in the decision basically because the club appealed the status quo remains until the issue is resolved, but yes you are correct common sense should prevail, I believe our stadium director has put a lot of him down time and money into sorting this issue out and should be thanked as such.

Quote say's The Club also said it was very suprised and extremely dissapointed the Council had reduced the capacity of its stand.
A Club Spokesman added "More seriously, failure to fulfill any fixture at our level is a very serious affair with many damaging implications. There was a major risk of large fines and sanctions that would seriously affect Reds future to play in the Northern Premier League "

The court case was adjourned until March. Means we almost certainly can play at Borough Park until the end of this season as we would only have to make the case the ground is fit to last three weeks!
