Thanks for the updated table Ash.
Marine lost at Trafford. Pontefract suffered their 3rd consecutive postponement. That means they will have to play their remaining 16 league games in a maximum of 61 days. And that is barring any more postponements. That's two games a week at least from here on in. With days running out, points on the board are so much more valuable than games in hand.
Reds have played 4 games in February. 12 points from 12 with a goal difference of 14-0. One to play for the month v Clitheroe on 29 Feb. Go the mighty Reds! :-)

The last couple of wins have been massive for our season IMHO. We now a +10 better goal difference over Tammy thanks to 4 nil and 6 nil results. Let's see how they respond on Saturday, I would bet Kendal are in for a hard time. If ponte can win those games in hand it will be nothing short of miraculous. 16 games in that short a period of time is brutal at our level. Also the forecast over the next couple of days is bound to cast doubt on their Tuesday fixture against Clitheroe.

Wow, another match off. I hope their players are making the most of the rest, they're going to need it. There are 9 Saturdays left, time is running out to avoid three games in a week.

Less of a threat to us but Dunston v Marske also postponed, they have as many games as Pontefract to get through. If both make the play offs they will be knackered going into them

one would expect the League again to refuse to extend the season for Pontefract and Markse like they treated Reds a couple of seasons back. Based on comments on here previously is Pontefract ground of a suitable standard to play at a higher level ?

The pressure is lumped onto the chasing pack. I think we might be favourites now.

Has been a very good thread for Feb. Would be good to track one for March also if possible. Just hope we can keep this form going into March. Will be an exciting season end.
