Does anyone know if reds are investigating streaming of matches live? Seems to be something most clubs are doing at many non-league level now and could generate additional income. If small clubs like Annan athletic can do it I am guessing the costs may not be too prohibitive but can’t claim to be an expert. Also , it may come to a point that spectators get banned again and then this would be the only income stream.

Reasonably priced you are right this could be a real regular income stream for lower non league teams.
Whilst Elite spirts may be protected I doubt that will rxtend past National League teams.

Agree, should be something we should be looking at. Might be the only way clubs at our level can continue playing . Already losing out on gate revenue. I think there would be plenty of interest

I agree that there may be potential but not sure what restrictions are in place for Saturday games. With the advances in technology a quick internet search shows that a quality product is available but could we cover the costs. Now is the time to make enquiries as for the first time in memory demand for games is exceeding supply, probably also the time for the club to be using the ticket situation to build up email contacts for everyone buying tickets to find out exactly how many people class themselves as supporters and want to attend at least the occasional game.(shift workers such as myself and many others I know can possibly only attend half the games) I'm convinced that over a season there will be well over a thousand different supporters who take a game in. Hopefully some kind of stream will be tried at some stage ,definitely beats the days when you often had to buy a Sunday sun to find out how the reds had got on away on a Saturday

As only an occasional visitor to Borough Park but a regular follower of the live scoreboard, I would happily pay to watch Reds in action.

Agreed worth investigating Live Scoreboard is brilliant but happy to contribute up front towards a video system for home games say £100 a season or £5 a game Having watched Reds since early 50s starting with the Reserves at Lonesdale Park this would be a great way to involve those who no longer travel but care about the club

t.co/tWO8x5lVOfSee that Harris and his cronies at NPL have secured a Cut-price deal with a company called ‘film my match’ for clubs to take advantage of (see npl website link) as a way to supplement income gaps. The other one I heard of from friends is ifollow.

No word on any potential live streams, with more local lockdowns happening the chances of our supporters missing out on away games is starting to become a reality and home tickets become more scarce each game I'm hoping that some progress is taking place behind the scenes. Next home game is Marske who as I pointed out streamed their cup game with Blyth free via Facebook, they are covering their game with Brackley this weekend and no doubt will want to cover our game, hopefully we can be accommodating and maybe pick up some advice. Incidentally I read a Danny Baker book in which he covers a Millwall game with the reds at bp in 1966 which was shown via cable on screens at the den ,is their any footage of this still, we must have been pioneers

It that wasn't serious it would be a joke, right?
It's the NPL, not the fecking Premier League.

That seems very expensive, I was involved in 2 live stream gigs in the Summer, 3 camera (one fixed, 2 operated), Full HD, streamed on Veeps and the cost of the stream was at least half that. Obviously that was indoors but the stream guys were in the venue for 7 hours including the show.

Haven't contacted the club at the moment but messaged the lad from Marske,he says that they would like to cover it and intend to but will need permission from the clubs and the league. Might be irrelevant though as if they beat brackley on Saturday the game will be cancelled due to fa cup taking precedence
