The plus side is Scott may be fit by time games return as well as one or two others carrying minor knocks.
With training as well being prohibited, in fairness to players there will need to have a period of training before games begin otherwise expect injuries to be a significant feature.
FA as usual focused on looking after the big boys of football while the small fry will be left to look after themselves

Regarding the next home match being on New Year's Day, I think the league should be answering a question here. No club should be given a whole month without a home game.

There was three weeks between Droylsden resigning from the league and the fixtures being released,so they could have easily changed a match. I put this to three league officials but never received a single reply.I don't think they would have let it happen to one of their own clubs.

Has anyone heard that the NPL are actively planning to extend the season by two weeks, out to 22 May?

Overall NPL figures - 45 clubs in Tier 3, 16 in Tier 2. That's not sustainable, particularly with no bars open.

Agreed JS How long will we have to wait for the Government to understand how Football clubs at this level operate. And the FA show true leadership for once by empathising and supporting clubs fully

North West Counties have suspended their league start until 19th December and if there are no changes in the Tiers than will review again early January 2021.Clubs can not survive without fans and what they dpend on hospitality.
Fown this way Lancaster with a rate of 97 well below national average is Tier 3 and fans banned while Kendal on 224 is in Tier 2 and can, yet their hospital cases go to Lancaster.
I am starting to fear the worst about this season but I hope I am proved wrong

I am starting to fear the worst about this season but I hope I am proved wrong All the more reason for the FA and the lower step leagues to have in place NOW a clear contingency plan about the season outcome - e.g. if in a league 75% of teams have completed 75% of their games, the outcome is decided on points per game. If that criteria of fixtures isn't met, season abandoned. You could argue the 75% figures, which are off the top of my head, but at least there should be a clear standard. It's not rocket science.
