So with Cumbria lumped into Tier 4 the stuttering season appears to be heading for another lockdown.

Cant see any football before March another season null and void. As I said months ago when last season was suspended, forget 20/21 season and complete 19/20 when football restarts. We probably would have completed the season and promoted. Looking forward to a new season in august 21. Instead we are 2 years on with fa to show for it.

So back to no football and no training allowed in Tier 4 at non elite level,
If indeed the tiers will only be relaxed when the vaccine has been delivered to the “ at risk groups” it would be amazing if they even contemplate completing this season.
More worrying is how will such clubs survive to fight again with no income and no acceptable support from the Football Authorities. It would great to think when Marine are on TV at the weekend their will be increased visibility to the problems clubs at our level face.

So NPL games off for the foreseeable future.
Even if first relaxation of rules happen by mid February (PMs hope) there would appear no way in which this current season can be completed.
It will be interesting to see what words of wisdom come from the hierarchy now
