This is getting some traction on social media, but I'd be doubtful it will actually change anything at the FA :

IMO the chances of the current season being completed within the normal timescale even if playing each other only once is remote.
Accordingly this proposal without any club being disadvantaged is the most appropriate option.
To null and void a second season will be a complete turn off Football Authorities need to understand the feeling of frustration at Grass Roots level and think before they vote, the easy option of null and void is NOT the answer for a second season in a row.

Having read Mark Harris’s comments in Non League Paper, I will be amazed if season is not once again null and voided.
PPG based on this and last season combined would see Reds in 1st place 90 points from 40 games =2.25pts per game followed by Ramsbottom Utd. 80pts from 36 games= 2.22pts per game. Both deserve promotion
Why at Last NPL AGM this matter was not discussed and an option agreed by clubs , it is not as if it was not a remote possibility

Do these idiots not realise that we could be in the same position next season and the seasons after that for ffs get this season completed when it’s safe to do so. It could take a few years mind.

Long interview here with Mark Harris on the NPL show ( I wouldn't have anything breakable or throwable within arms reach ) : podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM6Ly9hdWRpb2Jvb20uY29tL2NoYW5uZWxzLzI3NjYyMTAucnNz/episode/dGFnOmF1ZGlvYm9vbS5jb20sMjAyMS0wMS0yNDovcG9zdHMvNzc4MDQ0OA?hl=en-GB&ved=2ahUKEwjV29eH6rbuAhXLN8AKHa_RDCcQieUEegQIBhAF&ep=6I do get that he and the NPL, and the other leagues are in a very difficult position. And to be fair he makes a number of very valid points during the interview. But it's like the government briefings and PMQ - he's claiming everything negative portrayed about the NPL is simply hindsight. He's clearly not going to move on a combination of last seasons results and this. He was asked about it and said words to the effect that it's an option, but that he's not a lawyer and to him it would end up being be a legal matter. Sadly, I think that is correct, and that's a lost cause. I will of course be delighted to be wrong. His original mistake of course, but he's not admitting to any mistakes. So I suspect another null and void season ( again penalising on field success ) is coming. If the NPL don't vote that way ( and of course they might ), he'll find a way - maybe just go with the Isthmian again. He also claims early in the interview that he prepared a list of contingency plans pre season which were circulated to clubs. Love to have that confirmed.

Agreed well done again to the Club. Just a shame the people who make the decisions do not communicate with the fans in the same way.
The NPL should have circulated the contingency plans for this season but also reach an agreement at the outset what the decision would be - uncertainty is causing massive frustration and is a big switch off to many
Do those who make the decisions ever to stop to realise that Football at this level relies on Players Fans and their opinions count before the game is decimated with another Null and Void.
One can just hope that the F A tell the three Leagues to go away and think again before a Null & Void decision is brought in. If that still happens then if the F A had any integrity at all it would fully refund the fines players paid for games that were void. They can not have their cake and eat it. It would not be too bad if the FA & League was financially supporting clubs but most are relying on supporters to help keep the clubs going, another reason why they should be listened to.

Great news, only taken 10 months since lockdown but this will hopefully provide clubs with that safety blanket heading into an unknown future.

I agree but I suspect that unless there was almost a unanamous call for a particular outcome they will say because the clubs can't decide they will stick to what the various leagues have already decided.
