Probably makes it even harder to get promoted, wouldn't trust the npl to sort out another league at our level

Well Beggars belief. The method for selecting which sides will be promoted from Stage 5 to Stage 4 will be average points per game over the last 2 seasons.
Was not that exactly what the clubs proposed at Level 3 and 4 but was rejected by the F A and the Alliance Leagues.
Im in Westworlds camp when it comes to football administration

Look forward to Mark Harris explaining how "null and void", which he clearly said was definitive and unmoveable, now doesn't actually mean null and void at all. It's not just the National League who should be looking to pass a vote of no confidence in their management.
I understand the clubs have till Friday to make their views known - I hope Mr Harris will be asked for a written explanation of his complete u turn. I won't hold my breath.

The trident league committees apparently sit on Tuesday night to approve ( i.e. rubber stamp ) the FA's new league structures and the clubs which will be in each division. Formal announcement released on Wednesday.

Here's the league we're in for next season - NPL West. Bottom left on the diagram. You'll need to click on the tweet, and then the photo. I'm assuming the club will publish a better link / diagram shortly. Appears 1874 Northwich, Bootle, and Warrington Rylands join the league. Not sure who has been shifted.

From last season we have lost Brighouse, Marske, Ossett, Pickering, Pontefract & Tadcaster to the new 'East' Division. And in addition to the clubs Jeff mentioned earlier, we have 'new' opposition in the shape of Glossop, Kidsgrove, Leek, Market Drayton & Newcastle Town.

A quick look at them teams and we've lost the bottom 4 from last year, kept all the top teams and gained 3 of the top 4 from the south division including leek town who like us should have been promoted the other season. How many go up and what is the possible play off set up?

Be interested to see what our total mileage will be next season as opposed to the previous season. There's some swing and roundabouts - some places to go to just north of Stoke, which isn't great, but some of the cross country travel to the eastern clubs ( Pickering, Pontefract etc ) has gone

So the NPL now covers clubs as far south as Cambridge with its extra division, while in Step 3 Warwickshire clubs are in the Southern League.
Were the NPL awarded the extra league for their brilliant organisation and Management capabilities ?
How exactly does that impact on promotion and relegation from Step 4 compared to Isthmian and Southern Leagues ?
At the end of the day One will claim its part of the levelling up process dreamed up by London based FA

Can't imagine there will 6 up (3 leagues x2) and 6 relegated from the NPL premier. My guess will be 3 league winners plus one from play-offs. Play-offs being 3 second placed teams plus the fourth bottom from the Premier league.

That is probably the best option we can expect but it will be fingers crossed until it is confirmed by Mark Harris and his management team

Edit - Original remainder of post deleted. I found an old article on the Reds site saying the average 2 years ago was 270, which makes far more sense than the other stat I found but have now deleted. So whilst any increase isn't great, it's not as bad as I originally thought. And a lot on the M6.

Play-offs being 3 second placed teams plus the fourth bottom from the Premier league. Would seem the most likely outcome. If that is the case, maybe the four teams finishing 2nd to 5th would enter their own league play off, and the winner then go to inter-league play off? Just making it even harder to get promoted. How many times can we be shafted season after season?
