All well and good that BOD will not stand in Grainger's way, but if his new club want him so badly then surely they will be prepared to pay some compensation for break in Danny's contract. Have we ever had compen for players who have buggered off leaving Reds in the lurch. Or are we too "nice a club" to be a bit more ruthless? If that is the case then any player can do what they want with the club. And by the way, where the hell is Grainger going to? The fans deserve to know!

i think we got compo or some kind of money back off carlisle when skelton was here. Tony caig was here then went back to coaching at carlisle we got 5/6 match balls and a pre season game what we would have had anyways thats carlisle
