Yesterday's fully fit squad outplayed- what's the excuse now except they were not fit enough to compete in the 2nd half. Are we missing Brad Hubbold as much as I think? just look at the results since he got injured we have gone down hill since

To a large extent we were able to find cover for most players who have been injured but we havent found cover for him

To a large extent we were able to find cover for most players who have been injured but we havent found cover for him Brad Hubbold is the classic example of a county based player backing himself to step up from a lower level and making the transition through hard work, think back to his first spell when he was constantly overlooked for the big names and ending up back at Holker as we plummeted to relegation, it was only when Danny Grainger came that he was allowed to show his quality, my biggest doubts with the new manager is that there still are county players similar to Brad who could make the transition but instead we are chasing an instant solution

My best X1 would be:
Atkinson
Harrison, Wordsworth, Smith.
Clarke, Carroll, Hubbold, Rigg, Symington.
Jerome, Allison.
Subs: Eccles, Evangelinos, Lawrence, Casson, Roache. I'd have no problem starting any of the subs.
We have used so many players so far I'm struggling to keep up. Lately we have struggled a little and I don't know why. There is plenty of talent but we appear to be capable of gifting anyone a goal/goals. Plus I've not seen much creativity in midfield or in attack. For me, Hubbold is our best player. Symington our best chance to get a goal. When he's played Lawrence has been as good as anyone which considering he's played at CB, FB, CM and up front is amazing.
