Why did a key defender miss one of the most important games of the season. In addition, if fit why was our best creative player, Brad Hubbold not in the team? For practically all the game Warrington were error free, in comparison most of their chances including the goal came from our mistakes. We need to win all the three remaining games to make sure of the chamionship. And Rylands need to win both of there games in the hope we slip up. What's your point?

Enjoyed the game today. Thought the effort from Reds was good, but in all honesty didn’t see us breaking their strong defence down and it needed that special shot from Clark to get the goal back. Just had a look at their manager interview and he looks devastated about the draw.

My heart sank when I saw the teamsheet. Smith and Harrison have been excellent this season and we missed them massively.
I was worried on Tuesday that we would move Symington to full back. He has been short of form, but he is our match winner and we badly need him in attacking areas. If Harrison is missing next week, we must start how we finished. Leslie is an able deputy and Clarke is actually more effective on the right.
Assuming Smith is available then he must also return alongside Wordsworth. Carroll and Casson deserve huge credit for their respective performances, but we need them both in the middle of the park. We have worked hard for 3 years and we don’t need to make a point next week, we need to take all three.
Having said that, I walked away today both elated with the second half fight back and brilliant strike and also slightly irritated. The decision of one of our most important players to miss a game of this magnitude for a social event is staggering.
I will not criticise the individual, but I will question the culture it speaks of. This game and a potential promotion means an awful lot to a lot of people. We have invested our time, our money and our energy into supporting the team. The very least that we can expect is for this to mean enough to our players that they are willing to make a sacrifice of this nature.

Sam Smith has been probably our most consistent player all season and I fully expect him to start next week, dont agree with his decision but wont go overboard criticising him, let's move forward onto next Saturday, 3 wins and the title is ours, plus Rylands wont have it all their own way against northwich and bootle

Can understand the fans frustrations but its now history. Its all conjuncture whether the result against a very good side would have been any different so lets now focus on the final three games and for those games we need our best players available on the pitch.

Some very uncalled for remarks on here about Sam Smith. Sam has been a colossus for Reds over the years and there are a lot of uninformed comments about his absence yesterday. Yes it was disappointing but it is wrong to criticise the lad without knowing the facts. He is a part time footballer and as such has other long-standing commitments to his family and friends. Get off his back and get yourselves to Marine to cheer Sam and the rest of the lads on to promotion.

Surely a semi professional footballer who has signed a contract and receives a wage from paying spectators should feel obliged to play in game where promotion is at stake. I like to think it's a step up from Sunday League.
