As we get nearer hopefully our last home game of the season let's have a final push for a crowd that the team deserves. The improvement in the way the club is run over the last few seasons has been fantastic, better communication and promotion of games plus the push on the younger generation is starting to reap rewards. 3 gates of over a thousand is unheard of since the football league days, highest being 1180 with a current average of 705. As a comparison over the last 10 seasons the best average being 585 in the season we were runners up to fc united with us only one more season exceeding the 500 average. Positive times then and hopefully we should push towards the 1500 mark with it being a bank holiday and no local games or kids games scheduled, let's all try and round up all people who have any interest in football for this game because no matter what position we are in come Monday there will be more twists and turns to come

I do think a win on Saturday could spur on a stronger crowd than last week. Two days is short notice, but in this age, selling it was a crucial point on a Championship win could draw in a lot of casual punters - not sure how much local media supports the Reds these days.

1326 at the game showing there is massive potential at the club, never seen as many kids there and massive thanks to the overworked bar and kitchen staff who had a never ending amount of fans to serve all afternoon.
