Has been a great chairman for the reds, backed the managers with recruitment and always on hand at the club for a quick conversation when picking up my match ticket, hopefully he will be able to push through the sport village

Why would you stand down on the eve of the Reds biggest game in years, and a week before the end of the season. Very strange

Thank you Dave you have done a brilliant job in a short space of time, uniting the club and fans, supporting the Manager as well as overseeing and developing the community aspect of the club.
If anyone can get them best for the Sporting Village project its him!
None of us get any younger and we have to prioritise our efforts so fully understandable.
Just hope the Manager and players can give Dave the best leaving present by winning promotion this month.

Shocking timing for this announcement, on the eve of our biggest game since Salford. The club's PR has been spot on all season, but this, to me, is a faux pas. Apparently we are struggling for players for today, and now we are told that 'the Captain has left the ship'. Hardly good preparation for the game.

I don't think for one minute that this will upset the apple cart do the players know the chairman. That performance today the chairman should have played

Have to agree, the professionalism shown by the club over the last few months has been fantastic. Have a real plan. Look at the 1000 plus gates last 3 home games despite mediocre performances by our standards. All positive…efforts Certainly greatly appreciated… Let’s hope we get the promotion that’s deserved….don’t fancy going toe to toe with Macc Town next season…
