Very hard to watch that today. Playing a pub team who just looked to disrupt. Some very strange/poor decisions by the referee too.
3 points is 3 points but we were very poor. Our midfield was non existant in the second half. Shame how we played in front of a very decent crowd. Typical Reds.

What game was the person who criticised the midfield in the second half watching, we only came alive when Brad Hubbold came on. I don't like to name players but 8 and 9 were disappointing and totally ineffective. Has Jerome left the club, he has according to a spectator at the game today? Vital to have Carroll and Hubbold in midfield for the play-offs. Worrying how nervous the defence was today against poor opposition.

Brad Hubbold said after game that he should be ok for play offs (if we need them) also spoke of how difficult the pitch has been in the last months, hopefully get plenty of rain on it |

I hope we win the league just for the reason that it will save everyone having to suffer through another 90 mins at Borough Park like that.
Fair play to the season's best crowd for turning out though
Honestly hard to tell the 2 sides apart for the most of it. We are so complacent and sloppy in possession it is infuriating. We did work hard to win it back which was a positive but 9 times out of 10 then just immediately gave the ball away with a crap pass forward.
Also That passback from goose is 1-1 against anyone better than Kendal. They made a right mess of it
As for Dav full back vs Wing, well there have been 2 games this weekend where he's played one in each position, and its made zero difference to the team performance.
If anything we were best 2nd half at Marine with him Full Back. Leslie did ok but gave away a few fouls and didnt look 100% comfortable in that position against poor opposition. But He wasnt terrible.
2 cracking free kicks from Tinners but embarrassing that we couldn't create much more from open play against a team that had conceded 88 goals this season. Only once each half did we get in behind, both shots straight at the keeper. All other chances are hopeful shots from distance.
Just got to hope Bootle do us a favour Saturday

Agree with pretty much everything Ash posted above. Just to add some weight to it, Kendal were awful, like one of, if not the worst visiting side I've ever seen at BP.
Start Allison and Jerome up front next week and at least if we don't go up automatically, try and rack up the goals and find some momentum heading into the playoffs, because we've been just drifting along for a while now.
