The thing is, if they do refuse you entry without a ticket - and I don't think that will happen BTW - taking them to court to prove your point will take slightly longer than the 90 minute game. Let's hope everyone gets in.

Think we’re helping MDT out by selling tickets at our end You're not going to be turned away if you try and pay at the gate. It's not segregated or anything and they wont come close to reaching ground capacity😂 Market Drayton's usual gate is ~100, so having say 70-100 Reds fans turning up all trying to pay on the gate will put a lot of strain on their already limited resources. By our club selling tickets to collect at BP in advance, it will help ease congestion and allow people to get through the gates quicker rather than rummaging round for change etc. think we’re just trying to help Market Drayton by selling tickets from our end and it will help give them a heads up of how many Reds are travelling so that they can be staffed appropriatelySome official word from the club would be appreciated though The text in red in Irvo's post above sums up my understanding of the situation. No-one will be turned away at the gate for not having an advanced ticket. If this does occur please ask that a Director from Workington AFC is contacted to clarify the position at the turnstiles. (The majority of Reds Directors will be in attendance at this match). Having an idea of potential advanced numbers also helps Market Drayton Town plan ahead to cater for what will be a large number of travelling away fans (i.e. Catering/Bar, etc). Apologies for any confusion or avoidable frustration a lack of clarity may have caused anyone.

They have replied to a post on their Facebook site that it is pay on the gate.
No paper programmes just an online version.

Good luck Reds. Just do what you have to do and let Bootle take care of the rest!

I would never have contemplated not winning today. Thanks to Bootle who did their job on our behalf. Failure to win at MDT and miss out on promotion on a plate is devastating. Lost for words.

Thats life watching following Reds. You would not have believe todays scores at 1pm both drawing
What I perceive as the real problem is somebody lifting the squad for the Play Offs - my money would be on Leek to take the second promotion place because I jst do not see where Reds goals are coming from. It is not as if the Manager has not been backed with wanting players but there seems to be a failure to be on the same wavelength when they get back on the pitch. Why was Fenwick preferred to Jerome or Allison ? desperation or frustration - dont buy a lottery ticket tonight Chris

Red's supporters have done their bit this season, but today they have been let down badly by the playing staff and management. The momentum started by Danny Grainger is starting to ebb away. Most of us don't know the current situation within the club regarding players fitness etc. but since the home game against Widnes performances have been disappointing, we could have won the league several weeks ago if we hadn't dropped points against teams down at the bottom.

Please tell us what you witnessed today Ray, as I can hardly believe that we did not win today to take the championship. Truly gutted at such a missed opportunity.

Wow. What can you say? Utterly shocked and disapointed by that performance today. Our club has something in its DNA that leads to failure when we get close to success. We build up interest and excitement then the team bottles it. Not just this team but plenty of others over the years.
How can this group of players put in such abject consecutive performances against the 2 bottom clubs in the league?
Our confidence looks shot to pieces. There are so many rumours on the terraces as to why this is happening. That doesn't matter now. The team and management owe us promotion. They know what the problems are and they have to be put them right quickly.
