As gutted as I feel after today’s outcome, I can only imagine the hurt the squad must be feeling at this moment. They are a credit to West Cumbria - talented, honest and not given to the dark arts displayed by many of our opponents.
I hope everyone can get behind the lads from the off, on Tuesday night, and more importantly the team can play in a way that does their talent justice.
Without dwelling on it, this has been a 78 match campaign to finally reach automatic promotion decisions.
We have run very close a very talented Warrington side, despite the biggest injury crisis I can remember.

Club official's will be liaising with the League and Marine on Sunday and as soon as the club is in a position to communicate the ticket/admission details about Tuesday evenings match, all social media avenues, etc. will be updated. |

Clean slate for all teams , its now down to two Cup finals which in Reds case will be at home. (An advantage surely)
Reds deserve promotion but now its got to be won the hard way as any of the four can beat each other on the day.
Lets get it done COYR, play without fear and stay focused hopefully in front of a large supportive crowd.

I hope I am wrong but I think we will be lucky to get a crowd of a 1000 on Tuesday night.
The last 2 home games with large crowds have seen very poor performances from the Reds so doubt many of those floating supporters will be rushing back and even though they are the best supported team in our league I doubt Marine will bring more than 50 with them midweek.

Think this might be the first playoff game I could attend but will choose not to in all my time watching reds. I Cant face the near 6 hour round trip on a Tuesday for yet another woeful performance and inevitable disappointment. |

IF we get promoted the club will need to find the resources to stay up, this group of players with the exception of a couple will not be good enough.

I will reserve my judgement until after the playoffs but the manager has got to redeem himself in my eyes. In many ways yesterday it was a very low point. The actual position we finished in, 1 point if the top and at home in the playoffs, isn't the problem. It's the journey we have took to reach that point. Crazy. I don't know about yesterday being the lowest point. We've had many worse. I was 10 in '77 and that was a grim time but my first seasons supporting the reds were grim. Relegation to the NW Counties was worse in many many ways. As was relegation into this league. |

The basis of a really good team is already there ,need to trim some dead wood from the wage bill and strengthen where we need it instead of having a whole host of players wanting to play in the same position with no variety and structure to our play. The biggest disappointment accross the season is that no player has improved and fitness levels seem to have fallen dramatically. Aside from this there is enough ability to go out and win both games so come Tuesday let's leave our negative thoughts at home and back the club we support |

He might well be right, but the players' confidence is obviously on the floor for whatever reason. Surely you build them up and blow smoke up their arses for the next few days. Start the inquest next Sunday. |

Yesterday was deverstating. Probably the most frustrating in the 30 years I have followed reds.
I have to say wilcock did very well early on in the season given the injuries we had. I'm not sure previous managers would have been able to fill the gaps like he managed. But it's worrying how poor we have played in recent games (Bootle Game excluded). Even the games we managed to win, we often were below par.
To me we look a little lost tactically. We rely on an individual piece of magic to win games, there seems to be no real plan. Maybe we have been spoiled a little in previous seasons by how good the quality of football we played. I remember early on this season teams were saying how good we were. What's changed ??
With that said we are 2 wins away from still getting promoted, but it's very rare teams showing our kind of form go on to win the playoffs. We have to get behind the lads Tuesday and hope they can turn it around.
With Macclesfield in our league next year anything less than promotion this season is a disaster. Reds should be at least 1 division higher, possibly 2. COYR!

If same as any other season it will be a shared gate Season tickets are not valid for Play Off matches as the home team share the gate receipts with the opponents and the League. Centenary ticket entry is to be subsidised by our club to ensure continuation of the great work within the local Community of future generations of Reds supporters. |
