Yeah the naming of the divisions probably helps as npl west and npl don't sound much different. But I don't think anyone in West Cumbria really cares. So long as we are winning we will get 700+. After all the big crowds this season I would like to think we will have a little extra in next season's budget to add some quality and competition for places. The main thing is the club do something to try and maintain the interest this season has generated. A big name signing, a couple of big club friendly fixtures something like that. Lots of publicity too, get stories in the paper about the new stadium plans etc. Of course all of this is easier said than done Great to see big crowds, but don't forget a lot of the crowd are kids who have been given free tickets. I think this is a great idea, we need them to bring adults with them. Still think the best way is for supporters to buy a season ticket, that way the money is up front for the start of the season. It can then help to attract some decent players and pitch improvements.

Paid upfront and valid for any league game within 365 days of purchase or whatever. Make a good Xmas or birthday prezzy for reds fans.

Finally caught up with the highlights ( without trying to stir anything, I do miss Starboy posting the links ). Some massive "if onlys" to heighten the angst, but amongst it all, what a finish from Kengni for Marine's first goal.

Congrats to Marine. They suffered a big form slump towards the end of the season. Won only one of seven fixtures at the back end.........that was v Reds. Finished 5th but make the most of the system and gain promotion. Marine of course came down with us in 2019.

More like congrats to tuesdays ref who added 2.5 mins to the 5 which was given at the end of the 90 and also for all the free kicks he gave then in the last 10 mins whilst ignoring all the grabbing and shoving their centre half did all the second half on Jerome.

Probably good news for the reds really. With their high attendances you would imagine they will have a decent budget for next season and could be more of a threat than Runcorn.
Reds had 2 chances to beat marine to promotion in the last few weeks and unfortunately fell short both times, so we can't argue too much.
