Delighted, welcome back Danny. Great decision from the board IMO. Let's get us back playing good entertaining football and get the crowd behind the lads again. Sometimes last season the crowd felt a little flat which I've never really known at BP.

A huge well done to the board, for acting quickly and decisively. A difficult situation has been handled with class and a brilliant resolution reached.
It will not be easy and their will be bumps in the road, but make no mistake DG is an outstanding young manager. He will make players better, he will bring the football back and he will make us much more professional again.
Let us now pull together and move forward. I canβt wait for the new season to start.

I hope we have him on a secure contact and none of this "won't stand in his way to benefit his career" bollocks. If he gets head-hunted, Reds have to benefit financially for their loss.

The Manager who doesnt want to prove himself at the highest level possible is not worth having.
Danny Grainger welcome back, he will bring back the feel good factor to Borough Park. It will give players certainty and that is the prioirity in building the squad asap for next season

Excellent news and a big welcome back to Danny. I have been totally depressed since the end of season disaster , but this gives a big lift ahead of next season. Next is to get the squad confirmed for next season and hopefully a couple of quality additions

He has signed a two year contract before, not worth the paper it is written on.

Fact of the matter in football that is life, you live with it or not. Rather have a young successful Manager than somebody who ran down his contract regardless of performances on the field.

He has signed a two year contract before, not worth the paper it is written on. Seen the contract have you, enlighten us. All contracts are enforceable in law. Compensation "package" will no doubt be in it for both parties. Just like any other job, people move on if they are ambitious and the right opportunity comes along.
