If we had gone up the two brads might have stayed

Totally agree Ray. Keeping the 2 Brads should have been our top priority and imo we should have offered them better terms. Lancaster obviously got folk pumping bit of money in but I feel we're their feeder club atm keep cherry picking our best players! Has Brad Hubbold signed at Lancaster, they seem to have targeted the Barrow district as their territory with Brockbank, Cowperthwaite,Sloan and Reid already there. Christian Sloan would actually be a good signing for the reds if he is being forced down the pecking order

Not getting promoted didn't help but believe Lancaster offering more money. We need to make sure we can offer decent amounts to attract a few travellers cos don't think all local will cut it. Attendances over 1k many times last season so got to keep momentum up to keep them coming.

Given Lancaster's attendences it's a bit disappointing that they are able to out bid the reds on players wages. I can understand the traveling aspect and playing a division higher but one thing I thought reds would be able to offer is at least the same if not slightly higher wages. Any news on Jerome yet?

Walshy saying on radio that we wants to stay, depends on the money i guess.

The squad is shaping up nicely considering its not yet the end of May. Not sure last season Jerome always had Willcocks confidence.Still find it strange why Nico and Fenwick started at Market Drayton instead of Reuben but lets not look back but forward with confidence and trust in the squad and Management

I don't think the way Wilcock set the team up did Rueben any favours and hoofing long balls up didn't play to his strengths, he looked a frustrated figure at times. I think there is a player in there somewhere and hopefully Danny can unlock his full potential

Great news Jerome staying, just wonder whether he was waiting to see if there were any other travelling players signing up,I've got a feeling there might be one or two to announce

Very good news. Hoping he has an injury free season and we see the best of him.

Great news. He's a goal scorer and looked a top player under Danny last time. A reliable source told me he didn't get on with wilcock and was leaving at the end of the season, so Danny must have managed to change his mind. Couple of CMs to replace those that left and a fullback to replace Harrison and we will be in decent shape, maybe a CB for cover too. Big boots to fill though

Didn’t Danny sign him? Good player, great news. Given he travels, that’s loyalty!! He can mix it but has far more to offer. Playing on his own up front as essentially a target man much of last season living off scraps….he’s better than that.
