I wasn't at the game today but followed best I could on live scoreboard. Another awful result but lots of players missing so quite hard to gauge. Was it as bad as the scoreline suggests? Are Kendal having a good go at coming back up this season?
One thing I'm hoping this has highlighted is the need for another centre back. Both to push Sam and goose as well as for cover. We have to consider the possibility of going into a crucial game with one or god forbid both those lads missing. Would we be confident in the cover we have currently?
Any news on the other trialists? What happened to Danny's ex team mate we were hoping to announce? I read on the live scoreboard he wasn't there.

Very disappointing result, would love to hear feedback from those that made the trip, was it individual errors that cost us. 3 weeks to go now,get the centre backs returning and with Tinnion and Hughes in we will be so much stronger, would think Lightfoot or Casson would be used as back up centre halfs if required. The players will learn from the defeat and the young lads need opportunities in friendlies to show there abilities and also what they need to improve,as a club we can't afford to just go out and offer big money to plug potential gaps

It was as bad as it sounds. Awful defending and a non existent midfield. Kendal were far more cohesive and defended well. Dav was by far our best performer & Ruben looked good when he came on. The number 17 trialist scored a stunning consolation but it was wet, miserable and one to forget.
