I remember seeing Barry Irvine miss as sitter in an away defeat to Fleetwood in the FA cup when Fleetwood were a division of 2 below us and barely had a ground. How times change. I forgot about Fleetwood popside. when we played them in nwcl i think there where called Fleetwood Freeport

hi mate, I support the famous hawks of nat south who played one season in the nat league. I dream of a return.... I was facinated by the reds as a boy, maybe coz of your years of struggle? I hope you still have a few fans from your league days and you get back to the npl top-flight this season. My knowledge of the south of England is very sketchy but thanks to Google I assume your team is Havant and waterlooville, unfortunately I was slightly too young to see the reds in the football league but plenty still watching with countless stories to tell would love to hear some of those stories.... do you have derbies against barra/ carlisle in a cumbrian cup? is it purely an urban myth that the very existance of the reds was in question after relegation to the nwcl?

the point is to enjoy football and football culture? dyou seriously believe billingham symphonia have aspirations to reach league 2? nonsense reply, pal.... But how would you feel as a Billingham Symphonia fan if you were paying good money to watch a team happy to tick along with zero ambition? Ok, EFL is probably beyond 99% of clubs, but surely the aim is to get to the highest level possible (without doing a Gretna), giving players a pathway to success at the highest level possible (whether with your club or not) and being an asset to the community?

Lucky to get a friendly off either of those clubs although I dont tend to think of Barrow as a derby due to the travelling time, dont think carlisle fans see them as rivals either. Reds have teetered on the edge a few times like a lot of football clubs you are probably thinking about the bill wilson era when after getting us out of the new trains league he left us with massive debts. Plenty of good books and articles available on internet also some league footage on you tube if you're interested in the club, the ground definitely worth a visit especially in light of a new stadium possibly being built

It was a very exciting time to be a reds fan when he took over it's just a shame he didn't have the money to back up some of the ambitions😂. Thankfully the club seems to be in a much more stable state now, even if we are at least 1 div below where we should be.
