A really poor way to end a fantastic season, hate the way it uses the term expunged and wants us to pretend the games never happened. At a time of national crisis our local clubs give us a glimmer of hope this decision knocks the stuffing out of a number of teams across the country yet rewards some poor efforts of other clubs. Who knows when or if we will restart playing and what the make up of any leagues may look like but those that have witnessed the team this season will know these players are champions this season, let's all stay safe and bounce back when the time comes

FA couldn't care less about our level. Will be a different rule for the big boys. This is the lowest level we've played at in living memory, depressing to think we've got to do it all again!

Is expunge even a word? I swear they've made it up for this purpose only
Takes the piss. I thought Danny might be able to push us close for two promotions in a row as well. Now he'll spend his next (probably last let's be honest) season doing reruns of bloody Pickering away and such.

Inevitable - those 15 / 16 clubs in every division who haven't produced the goods drag down the ones who have slogged away successfully all season. Apparently Vauxhall Motors had actually mathematically secured promotion from their division. And Jersey had won 20 out of 20 games in their league. Counted for nothing
Really feel for Danny and the players. Hope justice is done next season

Those spineless buffoons at the FA could have announced this on 14 March as they were always going to take the easy way out. Absolutely fucking gutted.

If thst is Integrity I have spent over 70 years not knowing what the word meant.
Which ever way you look at it Football is the loser big style.
The F A is an organisation not to be trusted. How many players have worked their socks off all season , time off work getting home in the early morning after midweek games only now to have the carpet whipped from under their feet by F A top brass. As for fans who have followed their club home and away at not inconsiderable cost which now counts for nothing Those clubs that funded a drive for promotion find they have wasted money for nothing. God forbid but if the virus returns next March will they happily do the same .
As for the National League will the same criteria apply if they cant finish their season. That decision to should have been disclosed today and the same applied right through the leagues including the Premier League. And what about the Sponsors of all those clubs I would love F A to explain how they believe that is acting with integrity. the only certtainty is they will still be dining at the top rable drawing their expenses paid for by the Clubs and have failed to show any financial support to clubs at the same time.
You were right RedRay - Shafted but when you hear about a local business man committing suicide today Football pails into insignificance.

surely if they don't scrap the premier league or the championship they should have grounds to appeal

notices south shields are appealing against the decision They can afford to if it goes to a legal battle. Reds can't unfortunately.

Too right, South Shields good on yer. If the fa don’t do the same to all the other leagues then they have good grounds to appeal. They haven’t the balls to do it to the big boys.
