Still a small glimmer of hope but not optimistic. True to form teams are voting for promotion but no relegation, its what is called looking after one own interests. That is the football family for you.
Final decision will be with the FA so I wonder if they will be consistent in declaring the season Null-and void at that level too ?

If I have got this right , the npl board Sanctioned the null and void decision and the fa endorsed it. Could anyone tell me who these board members are and which clubs are they associated with. I bet they are all lower placed teams.

My reading of the situation was that each club was asked for its views on a Friday with a decision taken on the Monday based on whatever feedback was received. It was certainly not a Board of Directors decision of each club. That covered all three leagues of B.V North, South and Isthmian. The Chair of the NPL has gone on record saying the Northern Prem were outvoted hence a majority decision to Null and Void was passed and subsequently ratified by FA Council.
What I find surprising is the FA have now insisted for sake of integrity that for Steps down to National League a Points per Game basis is to be used if fixtures cant be fulfilled and there must be relegation as well as promotions on that same basis.
Why it was not the case throughout the whole pyramid only F A can say. The cynics would suggest it was dictated by money affecting their (FA) income stream rather than the integrity of the whole game of Football.
Nothing has changed tables wise since mid March so will the F A now do the honourable thing and escalate down the PPG decision to all levels of Football in England and if not please explain why not ?

South Shields ask for crowd funding for their legal challenge : nonleaguefootballlegalfund.com/packages/221/e/6Reds logo also on the page as a supporting club. The SS Chairman in a separate tweet says this is aimed at clubs not fans, although that's not at all clear on the web page. I guess if any individuals want to contribute that's up to them.

Looks like were supporting them. Club should put out a statement saying were 100% behind Shields and if possible make a financial contribution imo Still a chance to get this disgraceful decision overturned

I’ve happily supported them with a donation.... apart from what it would mean to our players to get the promotion they richly deserve - I am in awe of the effort Geoff Thompson has personally put into this campaign. I am optimistic of the right result and I think that contributing to the costs is only fair.

I've donated too. I still don't think it will make any difference but I'd love to be proved wrong and you have to at least try.

Interestingly today The F A Board by a majority decision decided the Women's Premier League today, on a Points per game basic basis with promotion and relegation based on a sporting basis.
That begs the question why was Non League steps 3-7 null and voided-in such haste over two months ago and why should one league of football be treated differently to another in the FAs eyes IF it is about Integrity in Football.

NPL Chair and his Southern / Isthmian counterparts on podcast yesterday. Full tweet and link to Youtube version of the interview ( confess I haven't listened to it yet ) here :
The tweet gives the NPL Chair's summary view on planning.

You couldn't make it up,south shields lose their appeal and at the same time league 2 end their season with promotion and relegation using ppg. Barrow will probably be given their title tomorrow, something is sadly wrong within the fa
