Fantastic, well worth the three year wait. We deserved it - first 15-20 mins aside, we were the best team by a country mile and probably should've wrapped it up in 90 minutes. By God we're a hard working team, we must be a nightmare to play against!
A massive thank you to Danny and the players for a dream of a season and to everyone working behind the scenes at the club, who managed to turnaround two huge playoff games and big crowds on a few days' notice.
24 hours on and I still can't believe it finally happened!

Still buzzing from yesterday, got the Lewis Reilly on my mind song spinning in my head all day, cant describe adequately how I feel, shows all the low moments have to be endured to appreciate a day like yesterday. The potential for the club is massive and the way the board has worked on building attendances in the last few years finally got its reward with well over 2000 home supporters, let's hope the majority will join our rollercoaster journey next season. Finally praise to the volunteers, stewards, gatemen, caterers, groundstaff and bar workers and all others, that victory belongs to everyone

An unbelievable day, head still hurts a bit today. Both playoff games reds were fantastic. We worked incredibly hard but in a strange way it never really looked in doubt (maybe for a few mins at 0-1 Saturday). We always looked in control and I'm convinced our high possession football payed off big time. A lot of fans moan about some of the shorter stuff we do at the back but in both these playoff games we executed it perfectly. We went long when we had to, but kept it whenever we could. Superb reds!

It's odd to say, but this time in the playoffs I never doubted that we would eventually come through - even after dropping the opener on Saturday. We were the (second) best side in the league and Danny was the man who built the teams confidence up to a point where they couldn't be stopped. I'm sure the lackluster performance against Northwich worked in our favour. Danny was not a happy man after that and they must have had a rocket up their arses.

I told everyone that would listen we were the 2nd best team in the league but I was a little nervous if Clitheroe. They were on a great run and seemed to sign some big players after Xmas. I knew we were better than Runcorn but it can all come down to a bit of luck and who handles the occasion the best. So proud of the team and everyone involved at the club
