According to Non League Paper Bet Victor have pulled their sponsorship deal (covering NPL SPL and Isthmian) half way through the deal as they are allowed to! Reasons given adverse publicity and some clubs not complying.
This could not have come at a worst time and will be just another nail in the coffin of some clubs

Does anyone know how much this equates to in Pound notes for each club and is this money that was to be paid or has it already been paid and will then have to be paid back.Either way this will leave all the Clubs with another source of Income gone when they most need it,very worrying times.

Sod all on the NPL site. Probably still celebrating getting the season expunged to help the NPL committee's own clubs.
However the Isthmian League have posted this :
“It has just been confirmed that during the first week of March BetVictor served notice on the Isthmian League, the Northern Premier League and the Southern Football League that they were activating the break clause in each of their contracts, and that accordingly their sponsorship of the leagues will cease on 9th July 2020. The three leagues were required to keep this information confidential, so initially only our Boards were notified.
The decision was made prior to- and as such, not influenced by- the coronavirus crisis.
A letter being sent to each of our Isthmian clubs this afternoon explains: BetVictor have terminated the sponsorship for a number of reasons, but mainly due to the fact that the increasing compliance restrictions and challenges faced in their first seven months outweighed the benefits they were drawing from the sponsorship. However, the escalating negativity towards betting in football did not help, nor did – most disappointingly – compliance breaches by clubs in and outside of the Isthmian League.
Although the search for a new sponsor has began, the Covid-19 crisis makes it very difficult to engage meaningfully with potential replacements. So, as of now, the Leagues operating at Step Three and Four have no main sponsor for season 2020/21.
Isthmian League Chairman Nick Robinson stated: “We are very disappointed that this decision was made as it means that we are not able to develop the relationship with the sponsor. We are actively looking for a new sponsor, but are apprehensive at this time due to the general economic downturn due to Covid-19. We believe we have a good and marketable product which has attracted sponsors for nearly 40 years, and we hger do so come 9th July this year ope will continue to do so once we are able to restart the League.”
( The typos aren't mine ! ) Not sure what the non compliance issues were by Isthmian League clubs.

That statement makes you think if that information was known to the League Management committees, that is why the decision to terminate the leagues was made on 25th March and why consultation with the individual clubs was minimal and time limited.
Don't understand why "The three leagues were required to keep this information confidential, so initially only our Boards were notified" what was confidential at the beginning of March is no longer confidential now.
Really feel for the Reds new Board of Directors to inherit this now must be a nightmare

NPL website changed today without any explanation at all for the reason. They have not once put any reference to BV leaving on the site. I've no brief for BV - I don't like having to confirm whether I'm 18 before entering a football site - but I recognise money talks. The NPL communication is dreadful.

Yes I agree, BV had notified the three leagues before lockdown and I am convinced this was one of the main reasons for the panic to early finish the season on a null and void basis.
How much was the sponsorship worth to each club? and what developments has there been since notification to find an alternative sponsor -( which will be very difficult in these times )
As you say communication poor

The clubs get a grand total of £0 from the league sponsors. Last season's sponsors were a pain in the proverbial. Not necessarily the sponsors themselves but the 'rules' that had to be adhered to because the were a betting company. Good riddance.
BTW in my opinion, ALL bookmakers should be banned from advertising, like tobacco products.

The league gets some money from the sponsorship deal, this is used to cover the admin costs of running the league. Probably one of the best sponsorship deals the club has indirectly had was when in Conference North, Sports Interactive were a league sponsor and each club got 50 copies of their football manager game that we sold off at £20 each!
