Of course there’s a chance. Until there is a significant relaxation of lockdown regulations no football will be played at any level. At the moment you have some politicians calling for a relaxation of the rules as soon as possible and, on the other hand, a senior medical advisor stating that lockdown could have to continue for the rest of the year. Until the government produces a coherent exit strategy with realistic timelines nobody has a clue when things can start to return to anything like normal. Incidentally it appears that the term “new normal” is the new political cliche to be repeated ad nauseum over the next few weeks. The point is that, given the above, worst case scenario speculation for the sake of production of journalistic copy is not only pointless but can only serve to demoralise those who are trying to endure this nightmare with at least a modicum of optimism.

Stay positive - its easy to say that but at least it is decent weather unlike most football matches which just love a downpour, a heavy pitch and strong winds.
Ironically Pontefract and to a lesser extent Ramsbottom benefited from having their games postponed. If all clubs had played 31 games I believe a different option may well have been chosen.
What is apparent in Football still, is that each club is acting in their own best interests. That is why I fear the return of football maybe some way off and that will have consequences without any doubt along the way.
