Reds stay up. Not promoted, but I'll take that. More importantly Carlisle are relegated. I would have snatched your hand off in August if offered that. Time to celebrate tonight.

Thank you very much.

Finbaar, enjoy your half full glass. You are correct. It is your life and your choice. To me (and maybe others) it seems somewhat of a rather negative existence, but whatever floats your boat. Your call. As I've mentioned before, my energies are focused more on my team, not other teams who I have absolutely no interest in other than the fact that they may provide opposition for my team at some point. If we all rejoiced in the downfall of opposition, the world would be rather sad in the fact that that we had nobody to play against. I'm not sure I hate anybody or indeed any team. Seems a vast waste of energy somehow to do so. Exiting soapbox, back to the beach......in the sunshine.............with a cold beer or three.............and a smile......... all the best to other teams in our league, and those in other leagues. Cold beer here with your name on it Finbaar if you would like to accept.

It's completely normal to hate other clubs. I don't particularly like Carlisle but since Simpson came back they have helped Reds so I won't be celebrating their relegation. For me Reds always come first, as long as we win I am happy. However when we don't I look towards Barrow and hope they have lost to cheer me up.
In terms of a season review we have achieved the bare minimum. A club our size should be in this division. Could maybe be 1 above but it will be a struggle. I think DG would have been under a bit of pressure had he not decided to leave. Results and or performances of late have not been anywhere near what we have come to expect from his sides.

The form since Christmas has left a sour taste, but I think staying up with 4 weeks to spare is probably just about a successful first year in the league. The crowds have held up and the good community and junior sections work on and off the pitch seems to be carrying on (we even got a couple of shiny new renders of a new stadium's entrance on a plot of land that if you squint, looks like it might be in Workington)
A lot of pressure on Fell to hit the ground running in the summer though! I'd love to see us kick on. Bar a couple of teams, I think we're competitive with everyone in this division.

Rome was not built in a day and nor will Reds gallop rip through the Leagues. So lets accept what we have an be thankful, its easy to loo k for people to blame but at end of day Manager takes responsibility as much as players should and fans need to do their bit too
