Signed for Clitheroe, didn't hang around for long at Lancaster following Willcock's arrival. Wonder why 🤔

Moved to left back and bollocked for having the nerve to cross the halfway line or do anything but hit and hope down the wing? 😂

Clitheroe seem to be splashing the cash this season. Probably after last seasons play off defeat they feel they are not too far away from promotion. Interesting on Tuesday night Lancaster got beat 7 -4 at home to Bamber Bridge but had Brad Carroll sent off at 4 -4

I'd of had him back at Reds. Perhaps our budget is spent for the season. Still need to replace Brookwell though, surely he's freed a fair amount of wages up to bring another CB in. Was Jordan little Gbadebo's replacement ? He's done immensely well TBF but one would imagine he'd be cheaper than CG.
I hope we aren't getting overly complacent and trying to conserve funds for next season or beyond. We struggled to recruit last pre season and if we end up in a relegation fight it's not going to help us persuade players we will be a top half side next season

Short memories, he pulled us out of the shit at the beginning of the season when we had so many injuries brought about 6 or 7 players in, i agree the football went downhill but he built a good defence and didn't give many goals away. we can't sign any f*****r now and didn't throw 20 grand away on a dead pony.

Do we really think the board held onto the money till late in the season. I think it will have been spent early on at start of the season

Oh no. Oh no. My memory is long. My memory is clear. Market Drayton. Burned into my effing memory. Keeping reds DOWN was his legacy.

IF he hadn't brought all them players in we would have been no where near come the end of the season. That was his big mistake resting some of our best players for the market drayton match, saving them for the play offs because he thought like the rest of us that warrington were going to win their last game to win the league. I'm no fan of chris, just think he was a decent manager, better than some we have had in the past.

Market Drayton where by far and away the worst side in that league and ANY Reds 11 should have been capable of beating them. However Wilcock couldn't. We were dreadful before, during and AFTER that match - good grief the home playoff semi!
