Another win in the bank making it four on the bounce. Reds confidence stocks will be rising. Improved crowd v Ilkeston was another plus. Let’s hope the momentum can carry through to the next tough test at Hyde United.
Hyde are 8th with 19 points from 12 games Reds are 13th with 15 points from 12 games
Hyde at home 2-2-2 Reds away 1-0-4
Recent Hyde results: 12 Oct Mickleover 1-2 Hyde 5 Oct Congleton 1-0 Hyde (FAT3QR) 1 Oct Hyde 1-3 Hebburn 28 Sept Hyde 2-3 FCUM 21 Sept Morpeth 2-2 Hyde 14 Sept Southport 2-1 Hyde (FAC2QR) 10 Sept Hyde 0-0 Leek 7 Sept Guiseley 4-0 Hyde 3 Sept Hyde 1-0 FCUM (FAC1QRr) 31 Aug FCUM 3-3 Hyde (FAC1QR) 26 Aug Macclesfield 1-1 Hyde 24 Aug Hyde 4-1 Stockton 20 Aug Hyde 2-1 Basford 17 Aug Matlock 1-4 Hyde 13 Aug Bamber Bridge 1-2 Hyde 10 Aug Hyde 1-1 Mickleover
Hyde overall this season 6-4-5 Reds overall this season 6-3-6
Hyde made a flying start to the season winning four of their first six games. Strangely, since winning two of their opening three home games, they have failed to win any of the subsequent four. Their win at Mickleover last time out was in fact their sole win in their previous 8 outings.
Reds meanwhile have only tasted victory on the road once this season. That was back on 20 August at Prescot.
come on you Reds
Preview coming from the Pacific Ocean having recently crossed the International Date Line heading to Bay of Islands in NZ.

Very disappointing to lose that at the death after coming from behind twice. Not sure on the penalty it looked soft but was right in front of their fans so loud appeal swayed the ref. Had some decent chances but they did too. They certainly piled the pressure on after we equalised so they will think they deserved it overall. Losing Jordan and dav early on certainly didn't help but all the subs done well Thought Kai and Riggy again were very good.

Have to agree with Mark there though I thought it looked a penalty albeit it was at the other end. Nugent & Riggy our best performers but a couple of disappointingly anonymous displays from players at either end of the experience spectrum. So frustrating to fight back twice then fall short owing to a lack of composure as the game moved into injury time.

I deffo didn't think we where rubbish, but to score two away from home and come away with nothing was disappointing.
We gave a couple of soft goals away and it looked a pen to me and Hetheringtons reaction kind of cemented that thought, but hyde were not any better than us.
Rigg was outstanding, kai busy, norris grafted, think there is a few playing out of position which isn't ideal.
