Thanks for the link GSred. That meeting explained so much. None of it good.

Does it surprise you ? Not at all. I really feel for all those genuine fans who devote their time and money to better the club and work in the community to find how very littlethey are appreciated by Allerdales elected representatives. What their vision is for sport goodness knows but I would not blame the club now if it considered all options as the Council is like all politicians All hype but little tangible evidence of real action

Compounded by, and emphasised by, the fact that our Development Squad has to play at the COPELAND stadium because there are no suitable facilities in Allerdale!

Very disappointing outcome but sadly very much expected. The whole thing was a joke and just showed our Council for the bunch of amateurs they are and our elected Labour councillors should hand their heads in shame. They were obviously following a party line with a spit the dummy out mentality because they stopped us building our stadium so we will stamp our feet and vote against anything else attitude.I really cannot see a positive outcome for Reds or Town while these jokers play politics and stroke their own egos rather than providing a first class facility for the whole of allerdale from young to old to use for many years to come.
