3 matches, 3 draws and things were not looking that good. Now after 5 matches, including back to back wins and undefeated things seem rather improved. Mossley come to Borough Park in their first away fixture having had their opening 4 match winning run succeeded by 3 without a win. Interestingly their 3 FAC matches were all at home, so they have played 7 consecutive games at home.
Reds are 4th with 9 points from 5 games Mossley are 7th with 6 points from 4 games
Reds at home 1-1-0 Mossley away 0-0-0
Mossley recent results: 6 Oct Mossley 1-3 Clitheroe 3 Oct Mossley 1-1 Tadcaster Albion (FAC2QR) (3-4 pens) 29 Sept Mossley 1-2 Runcorn Linnets 26 Sept Mossley 4-1 Pickering Town 22 Sept Mossley 2-1 Ramsbottom (FAC1QR) 19 Sept Mossley 2-0 Ossett Utd 12 Sept Mossley 3-0 St Helens Town (FACEPR)
Reds overall 3-3-1 Mossley overall 4-1-2
Having knocked over Colne's 100% record with our terrific 0-1 midweek win, Ramsbottom are now the only team left with that claim. Rams, along with Reds, are included in the 7 teams still undefeated.
A full card of fixtures today includes: Rams (3rd) v Ossett Utd Dunston (2nd) v Prescot Runcorn Linnets v Clitheroe (1st)
Here's hoping Mossley's first away match of the season is a tough one. Come on you Reds.

Cant make this Saturday's game due to work commitments but notice it's already a sellout 2 days early, no doubt there will be a lot of disappointed fans again, let's hope it's not too long before they can raise the capacity to match the division above

Can't see them allowing more fans atm , if anything it could be less and none at all in some areas if local restrictions are enforced.
Not sure how season will go forward then.
For now just looking forward to my first visit to BP for a good while and hopefully another Reds win.

The silence is deafening! This was a very comfortable win for us today with the major threat to us being caught out by our insistance on playing everything out from the back. But who can argue with three points and a clean sheet?

Agree pretty comfortable in the end although 2nd goal was a long time coming. Could and probably should have scored 4 or 5

Great to read of a comfortable victory, players starting to recover from injury brings added competition for places and individual performances improve, I heard Jordan Holt had a good game, with confidence could be a standout in the long term .

This was a game that we had to win and we did it even though we did not play the classy football that we all know that Reds can. I thought that Mossley were a hard working, hard tackling team and we had to battle to get the victory. As previously said, we should have scored 4 or 5 goals. We were far more dangeerous when Matty Clarke and Dav came on. Should have been on from the start in my opinion. The club must be loosing a lot of income not being able to sell food. Why cannot the club have an outside venue to at least sell pies? Hope that the burger van is being charged a good ground rent as it is a gold mine! COYR

Looks like we played really well at times, love Scotty sprinting back to recover the ball on half way. Potts looked quite lively if a little raw still
