If this is in wrong forum, no problem to move but I posted here given that it is match related to Reds.
Reds have no fixture this weekend as 30 Oct is FAT3QR day and we are of course not involved.
Reds are currently 2nd with 28 points from 14 games but this will be impacted by teams playing games in hand this week and next midweek.
Tues 26 October Leek Town (6th) 1-1 Prescot Cables Leek are 6th with 26 points from 13 games and will overtake if they win this game.
Runcorn (7th) 0-4 Mossley (1st) Runcorn are 7th with 25 points from 11 games. Mossley are 1st with 28 points from 12 games. Runcorn will overtake with a win thanks to a better goal difference. Mossley are currently level on points with Reds but have a better goal difference.
Tues 2 Nov Marine (3rd) 2-1 Trafford Marine are now 2nd with 30 points from 12 games. Trafford are 5th with 26 points from 13 games.
Reds next fixture is at Mossley on Sat 6 November. By then, we could be anywhere between 2nd and 5th.
* Results updated from 26 October. Big win for Mossley inflicting a first home defeat for Runcorn. ** Marine rseult updated
Mossley now 31 points from 13 games and 3 points clear of Reds who are still 2nd.

Marine come from a goal down to veat Trafford 2 1 which moves them above Reds. Trafford now played same number of games as Reds but 2 points behind Leek 1 point behind but Runcorn Linnets could still overtake Reds with their games in hand.
This a much tougher league this year but still a long long way to go !

Tuesday 9 Nov Kendal 0-3 Runcorn Linnets That moves Runcorn up to 4th with 29 points from 14 games.
Sat 13 Nov Warrington Rylands (5th) 7-2 Prescot Cables. Warrington will overtake Reds in 3rd if they win...and also Mossley thanks to their big score.
Tues 16 Nov Kendal 0-2 Marine (1st). Marine are currently ahead of us (and Mossley & Warrington Rylands) by 2 points but have games in hand. Prescot 3-1 Mossley (3rd) This will put Mossley on 15 games played, same as Reds. We are currently = on 31 points.

Not unexpectedly Marine won 2 0 at Kendal tonight to extend their lead to 5 points plus a game in hand over the “chasers”. Mossley however lost at Prescot 3-1 so Reds are 4th on goal difference at the moment although if Runcorn won their outstanding game they would leapfrog into second place all having played 15 games. However on this Saturday Runcorn and Warrington Rylands meet so points will be dropped thereby one or both teams.

Looking good for Marine you have to say, ultimately they have dropped only 6 points out of 42, have a game in hand and have more home games remaining than away. They have 4 home games in december (3 if they progress in the trophy) The only hope is an extended Trophy run causing them a fixture pile up but Reds would also have to go on a decent winning run i think to catch them up.
Reds doing ok, averaging over 2 points a game and responsible for 3 of Marine's dropped points, keep that up and we'll be up there but at present we need Marine to hit a decent slump in form
