We find ourselves with yet another free Saturday. The third in six weeks. It looks like Market Drayton are also without a match, but we hosted them on 4 Sept. As such, I'm not sure what has caused this fixture anomaly.
So the other matches of importance today (showing away record) are: Leek Town 3-2 Marine (1st) (7-0-2) Bootle 2-4 Warrington Rylands (3rd) (3-3-1) Ramsbottom PvP Clitheroe (4th) (5-2-0) Colne PvP Runcorn (5th) (4-0-2)
Table prior to the above KO's using played and points
Marine 15 39 Reds 17 37 Rylands 17 34 Clitheroe 17 33 Runcorn 15 32
Warrington Rylands will overtake with a win as they have better goal difference. Runcorn are currently 5 points behind but have 2 games in hand.

Yes, it's a big Saturday for us even though we don't have a game. I shall be glued to the NPL Live Scores hoping that there is an upset . . .or four!

So far at half time a decent set of scores Marine a goal down Mossley drawing having been3 goals up Rylands 2 1 up at Bootle. Lets hope those scores stand at 5 and Reds will be pleased . Sorry Mossley actually 4 3 down at half time ! Sounds like some game.
Mossley finished up losing 7.3 !!
City of Liverpool where Reds visit next Saturday won 6 0 away at Prescot Cables - this league does not get any easier but one game at a time
