Wow - great result at City of Liverpool.
Wow - Marine's wheels not just coming off, but hurtling rapidly down the hill! Could Kendal now take advantage and do us a big favour?
Congrats to all involved at Reds. We are now not only back on top but also in charge of our own destiny, as those with games in hand cannot catch us at the moment. We have opened up a four point gap at the top. Just before Christmas Reds and Marine had both played 19 games and we trailed them by 7 points.
With 7 wins on the bounce, next up is Newcastle Town at Borough Park.

Just arrived back from the match and thoroughly enjoyed a convincing home victory. It was my first match for a couple of months and noticed a big improvement in pressing out of possession. I was impressed by all the midfield players. I am a massive Tinnion fan but he will struggle to get his place back. Thought Jeromes hold up play was excellent up front. And what a talent we have in Dav with three great goals. His 2nd was the pick of the goals. Look forward to seeing them again on YouTube

Another great result, the squad is looking very strong as we enter the long run for home, good attendance and full marks to all volunteers at the club, ticketing running really smoothly now and the bar and kitchen staff are working tirelessly trying to cope with the sheer volume of customers. Roll on the next home game ,this team deserves even more support

This was a game that needed a goal to settle us down i thought, it was a bit disjointed to start with even though we did start much better and much faster than in the last couple of games, which was pleasing. Once we got the goal we were full of confidence and played as well as we had all season, created loads of chances with a little more placement and less power would have made the scoreline even more convincing Definitely into our stride now and looking very dangerous with Jerome leading the line and Carroll/Hubbold bossing midfield Agree with the poster above that Tinners would struggle to get his place back even though he is a quality player. Obviously with a player like Dav in your team you can beat anyone and im pleased to see some mixed up corner routines, we effectively scored from 2 of them though the 1st one cant have been the actual planned routine because Sam Smith's "pass" to Carrol looked more like a spooned shot.
All 3 subs who came on contributed and Fenwick almost got his 1st goal for us, Newcastle were well beaten and looking for full time by then though. Shout out to Goose and Smith who have been superb last 2 games, won every ball and there was moment in the 2nd half (see plaskygames video) where they were interchanging passes with each other on the Left wing and Smith crossed for a good chance for Dav. You know you are having a good day when your centre backs can play Tiki Taka on the left of the opposition final 3rd.

If we can get scotty and nico fit we have a good squad of about 18 players that would be good enough to perform at the top end of the northern premier league,we just need to add another centre half and a left back to give some cover for injuries.
