The Mighty Red Train moves on to platform 9 after securing their 8th consecutive win midweek with a 2-0 victory over Mossley.
With Pontefract losing at Marske, for the first time this season our destiny is now in our own hands. Win all our remaining games and we win the league. We are currently 10 points clear at the top of the league.
We played Tadcaster twice in 4 days at the start of November. A 2-0 victory in the reverse league fixture, followed by a 0-1 at Tadcaster in the FAT.
Tadcaster are 7th with 40 points from 26 games Reds are 1st with 68 points from 30 games
Tadcaster at home 5-5-3 Reds away 8-2-4
Recent Tadcaster results: 10 Mar Colne P-P Tadcaster 7 Mar Marine 1-0 Tadcaster 8 Feb Rams 3-0 Tadcaster 4 Feb Tadcaster 2-3 Dunston 1 Feb Tadcaster 0-0 City of Liverpool 25 Jan Kendal 2-2 Tadcaster 18 Jan Tadcaster 1-2 Kendal 11 Jan Dunston 1-0 Tadcaster 7 Jan Clitheroe 1-2 Tadcaster 4 Jan Tadcaster 0-0 Pontefract 1 Jan Pickering 0-3 Tadcaster
Tadcaster overall since 1 Jan 2-3-5 Reds overall since 1 Jan 8-1-2
Taddy were going well and amongst the top five but have dropped off the pace since the beginning of the year. They have lost their last three fixtures, and haven't won any of their last 8 outings. As such. their hopes of a play off place are fading.
Other top five games today: Marine v Rams Runcorn v Marske Trafford v Pontefract
Tough trip to Marine for Rams where somebody has to drop points.
Come on you Reds

How are you getting 12 consecutive wins? unless you are counting the Ramsbottom defeat as a victory? I get 9 consecutive, 7 in the league Reds have 2 defeats since 1st Jan - Pontefract Away, Ramsbottom Away

I've seen some amazing 'clear on goal' scoring tackles and Conor Tinnon's perfectly timed tackle today was probably one of the best of them all? A game changing moment if ever there was one. Absolute brilliance from our captain and an example of never giving up on an attacker in front of you.

More accusations of racism. Not ideal is it.

Glad they said Alleged in the video because it was completely baseless, i was sat near them and apart from the abusive comments from the usual person (none of which were racist) nothing racist was shouted and I would say if there was, also a home supporter/steward also confirmed he heard nothing.

Am I correct that I saw our two ex directors at the game? If so great effort!! Excellent point blackprince and something that will be increasingly important as the season enters its closing stage. Everyone with the Club's interests at heart, fans young and old, Directors past and new need to unite to do everything possible to help the team over the 'finishing-line'. Good to see the new Directors following the example of John and Ross and attending the away games. Out of interest which of the Directors were at the game at Tadcaster?

Not what I would expect from a new board - should be fresh and enthusiastic; sends the wrong message to the team and the fans. As I say, now's the time for everyone to get behind the team. Difficult to understand how this will happen if the Directors don't attend the away games
