After many games scoring and conceding goals in injury time, Reds had one in the net after 14 seconds at Skem! Next up is the familiar visit of 1874 Northwich who are currently sitting just outside the play offs.
Reds are 3rd with 30 points from 16 games 1874 Northwich are 6th with 24 points from 16 games
Reds at home 4-2-2 1874 Northwich away 2-3-2
Recent 1874 Northwich results: 19 Nov 1874 Northwich 2-0 Widnes 12 Nov 1874 Northwich 0-1 Hanley 8 Nov Runcorn 2-2 1874 Northwich 5 Nov Mossley 3-0 1874 Northwich 29 Oct 1874 Northwich 0-2 Glossop NE 22 Oct Macclesfield 0-1 1874 Northwich 8 Oct Witton Albion 3-2 1874 Northwich (Mid Cheshire District Cup 1R) 1 Oct 1874 Northwich 2-1 Skem
Reds overall since 1 Oct 6-1-2 1874 Northwich overall since 1 Oct 3-1-4
Although they are in 6th, form has been extremely inconsistent. Their outstanding win at Macclesfield was followed by a home defeat to Glossop. This started a run of 4 games without a win, until they defeated Widnes last weekend. Reds meanwhile have won three on the bounce (4 if you include the Winscale win) since the defeat at Macclesfield.
1874 Northwich have won twice on the road. Along with the victory at Macclesfield, they also won at Clitheroe 1-3 back on 27 August.
Other top of the league fixtures today: Prescot v Macclesfield (1st) Leek (2nd) v Colne Rams v Runcorn (4th) Mossley (5th) v City of Liverpool
A win today will consolidate Reds' position in the play offs. Come on you Reds.

Cant stress how important it is to get as many down as possible tomorrow, no premier league football on time for the people of the town to get behind the team, spend some money in the club and encourage all the casual fans to turn up

You could say that too about England and World Cup games, so get down to Borough Park today and get behind the boys for another win.

A very very comfortable win against a side that looked very ordinary. Good to see that our heads didn't drop after the fuck up that caused their goal. And two goal for Lewis! Get in. We should have scored about three more, but I'll settle for three points.

Great to see Lewis Reilly finally get his goals after being very unlucky in recent games. Just reward for his all round improvement & being more of an influence in games

Well deserved victory with probably their best performance at home this season in very difficult conditions, Brad Hubbold the missing link recycling every loose ball all game, Reilly very good also and pleased to see his confidence visibly grow after his first goal

Brad Hubbold was immense in the first half especially. Showed what we’ve been missing all season.

Welcome back Brad you finally got the reds to put on a performance. That was more like a danny grainger team of a couple of years ago. Good performances all over the park with stand out games by, hubbold, reilly, carroll and leslie.

Some great football played today by the Reds and a well deserved victory. Should have scored at least 3 more but happy with the 3 points. Brad made such a difference. so pleased he is back with us as he is class. Their goal was a real Fuck up but we came back in true victory fashion. What happened to the support from Allerdale residents? They missed an exciting game. Shame on you for not supporting a very talented side!!! Morons.

By far the best game I've seen the Reds play at home this season. Organised, effective and very entertaining. We gave another crazy goal away and could have scored more otherwise it was a complete showing. With the addition of Brad Hubbold the midfield was excellent. For me this was a big improvement over other home games this season. A really entertaining game. Good to see Lewis Reilly get a couple of goals.
