'Tis the season of postponements, fa la la la lah.....
sadly our match v Bootle was not to be on Saturday. Called off along with all other fixtures bar Macclesfield 4-0 Rams. Unless the weather improves, I would think this trip could be at risk also? If it does go ahead, this will be our fist midweek league fixture since the 1 November visit to Macclesfield. It was rescheduled from 19 Nov due to Colne's involvement in FAT.
Colne are 16th with 18 pints from 17 games Reds are 3rd with 36 points from 18 games
Colne at home 2-3-5 Reds away 6-1-2
Recent Colne results: 6 Dec Colne 1-1 Witton 3 Dec Colne 1-1 Macclesfield 26 Nov Leek 1-0 Colne 19 Nov AFC Fylde 2-1 Colne (FAT2R) 15 Nov Newcastle Town 0-1 Colne 12 Nov Rams 0-0 Colne 5 Nov Colne 1-1 Bootle 29 Oct Colne 5-0 Warrington Rylands (FAT1R)
Colne overall since 1 Oct 4-4-5 Reds overall since 1 Oct 8-1-2
Colne haven't won at home in the league since 17 Sept when they defeated 1874 Northwich 1-0. Reds have won their last six outings.
There is only one other midweek fixture but it could impact Reds with Leek being one place, one game and one point behind. Skem v Leek (4th)
Reds could be 2nd, 3rd or 4th at full time.
Come on you Reds.

I live 12 miles from Colne and the chance of this being on is somewhere between zero and none.

And even from 100 miles away, BBC weather has the Colne temperature as rising no higher than freezing before 7pm tomorrow, and around -3 by the scheduled kick off.

Having a pitch inspection at noon today ,wtf is the point of that, it should have been called off yesterday. What about the lads who have to take time off work to play.

I agree 12 noon on the day of the game for frost and ice at a ground like Colnes Holt House as was on top of an exposed hill is short sighted. What about the travelling supporters do they not deserve some respect too as well as the players and officials of the club.

According to Colne twitter, match was called off four hours ago.
