Our 'special' weekend off was hijacked with every match scheduled for Saturday called off. Our trip to Mossley this evening was rearranged due to original postponement on Saturday 17 December. The original post for this match is below the line.
Mossley are 5th with 39 points from 22 games
Reds are 3rd with 44 points from 22 games
Mossley at home 6-3-1
Reds away 7-2-2
Recent Mossley results:
14 Jan Mossley 1-1 Colne
7 Jan Runcorn 1-2 Mossley
2 Jan Mossley 1-0 Rams
26 Dec Glossop NE 2-3 Mossley
Since the original postponement, Mossley are undefeated and now have a 7 point cushion in the play offs. The last time they lost was at Macclesfield, on 19 Nov. Reds' previous defeat also came at Macclesfield - back on 1 Nov.
Clitheroe v Macclesfield is also on tonight having being rearranged from 17 Dec.
This likely to be a close game and tricky trip for Reds with Mossley boasting good form at home. Reds do have the 3rd best away record though. Hopefully it will help collect three points.
Come on you Reds.

Another postponement at Colne will mean 14 days between matches..........assuming this one doesn't go the same way. Mossley have also suffered postponements and will not have played for 14 days either. Their last outing was a 90 minute equaliser at Hanley.
Mossley are 7th with 29 points from 18 games
Reds are 3rd with 36 points from 18 games
Mossley at home 5-2-1
Reds away 6-1-2
Recent Mossley results:
3 Dec Hanley 1-1 Mossley
26 Nov Mossley 2-1 City of Liverpool
19 Nov Macclesfield 4-3 Mossley
12 Nov Bootle 1-1 Mossley
5 Nov Mossley 3-0 1874 Northwich
29 Oct Skem 1-0 Mossley
22 Oct Mossley 2-1 Prescot
15 Oct Mossley 1-1 Clitheroe
Mossley overall since 1 Oct 4-5-2
Reds overall since 1 Oct 8-1-2
Mossley have won 5 of their 8 home fixtures. Reds have won 6 of their 9 away fixtures. Reds away record is joint best in the league with Macclesfield. We opened our season by hosting Mossley on 13 August. Unfortunately they took the three points home with them following a 0-1 victory. They went on to win their first three fixtures and spent the early days at the top of the league. Since then, they have slipped but are only one point adrift of a play off position. Reds have won their last six outings.
8 points separate 2nd to 7th.
Other top of the table fixtures today:
Widnes v Runcorn (2nd)
Leek (4th) v Bootle
Clitheroe (5th) v Macclesfield
Kidsgrove (6th) v Colne
This will be our last game before Christmas. Let's hope Santa can deliver us another welcome three points.
Come on you Reds, and Merry Christmas to you all.
