What is the craic about Lewis Reilly's injury to his ankle, is it broken or a bad strain, does anyone know yet. No news on the club site yet, why does that not surprise me..

It isn't just Reillys injury that the club dont tell you about, its also... Roxburgh (timescale for return ?) Carroll, whats the problem & how long is he out. Casson, Scotty Al, Bowen & Hammell all missed Saturdays game, Why ?? If they are injured whats up ? The lack of information to supporters just leads to second hand chatter on the terraces & looks very unproffessional

That interview was right after the game when Reilly was at hospital to get it checked out.I agree you shouldnt have to hunt everywhere for news about Reds

I have to agree that communication about these kind of things are often poor or non existent. Relying on post match interviews isn't great. 7 days between updates and only if the questions are asked. The post match interviews are usually very good but we could do a much better job of updating fans inbetween. The odd article once or twice a week online, in the papers or even just on social networks is a great way to advertise games, draws or other fundraises.

Firstly it is correct, the news about Lewis isn't good and he's looking at a few months on the sidelines. Whilst I'm here though and this is a serious point, we are actively looking to expand our Social Media team if anyone fancies putting their money where their mouth is. There is a limit on what we can do in many aspects of the club and that limit believe it or not is usually down to a lack of bodies, nothing else. This isn't meant as a dig or a gripe it's a genuine point, if anyone thinks they can offer a bit of help please let us know, it's even a job you can do from your sofa

Well I hope those who are whinging the most realise they can do something about it themselves.

It's obvious the club monitor the posts on here and usually try to act upon fans suggestions. At least the the sensible ones anywyas. The club has come on loads in the last 3 or 4 years, but we constantly have to keep striving to improve and one area where we could improve is the communication with fans. Whether that's via third party articles in the N&S and Cumbria crack or directly from the club itself, doesn't really matter.
