An expected tough midweek trip to Warrington Rylands came with defeat, but only 1-0. Given some other previous away results, this doesn't feel too bad somehow. We now find ourselves back on the road again heading to Matlock Town.
Matlock are 13th with 14 points from 11 games Reds are 6th with 18 points from 11 games
Matlock at home 2-1-1 Reds away 1-0-4

Matlock since 1 Sept 4-1-4 Reds since 1 Sept 5-0-3
Matlock's victory in FAT3QR sees them with an eye on the FAT1R on 28 October with a trip to North Ferriby. Although they are in the bottom half of the league, their home record of 2-1-1 shows their only loss was to high flying Rylands. Reds have struggled on the road aside from the sole victory at Bradford PA.
Both teams have been involved in goals this season. 44 each making a total of 88 in 22 matches played. Matlock however have scored three more (23) than Reds, and conceded three less (21).
Is it possible that this could be Reds' first draw of the season? There are only seven fixtures today given it also FAC4QR day.
Come on you Reds
