Unfortunately we allowed Marske's recent upturn in form to continue midweek. Disappointing that we were unable to add to their goals conceded column, given they have conceded the most goals in the league.
Reds should have been on the very familiar road to Marine on Saturday but the games is postponed due to Marine's extended involvement in FAT. They travel to St Ives Town in FAT1R which leaves Reds watching on this weekend.
This match would have been on 28 October but became a midweek trip due to the above details.
A solid point at Whitby Town means that Reds are now unbeaten in the previous two fixtures on the road. This trip to Marine is the last of five consecutive away fixtures.
Marine are 10th with 26 points from 14 games
Reds are 14th with 23 points from 17 games

Very definition of a fair result and a great match.
Conceded from a poor corner after 6 minutes. It wasn't even a header just volleyed in from shin height after we had started OK.
Got level after Riggy who was my MOTM played in dav and his low shot was saved only for francis to fire in off the bar. Then Went ahead after marine keeper made an absolute mess of a pot shot from Dav on the edge of the box. Went through his hands.
Reds were on top and Dav should have made it three but shot at keepers legs. Almost immediately Devitt played a poor pass out from the back which Carberry advanced with unchallenged and fired a worldie into the top Corner.
Devitt then caught in possession deep in our half and a square ball to Solomon and he was in and a shot accross Eccles who couldn't keep it out even though he got a hand on it.
2nd half Reds got level straight away with good play down the right and a pinpoint cross from Francis from they byline that Rigg headed home from 4 yards.
Then a poor free kick given away on the edge of our box which was fired hard into the back of the net. Thought that might be it but loads of time left.
Riggy missed a clear chance by heading over to make it 4 all.
With 10 to go dav was played in behind and brought down and a pen given. Expected us to miss but Bonney fired into the roof of the net to tie it up.
Allison came on and had a golden chance to win it but dragged wide from 10 yards after Rigg won a knock down.
The Marine could have won it but Eccles made a great low block with his legs
Great point. Hubbold and Rigg were stand out performers for me. We looked shaky at the back of without Jim as we still tried to play it out but Danny not quite as assured as him. Understandable given his lack of games.

Much appreciate your views Ash it certainly was a game which ebbed and flowed.
To score four goals away from home and not claim the three points must be frustrating but Reds Never give up attitude is something to be proud about.

Bit like Saturday thought they edged possession but we had the clearer chances.
When we went 2-1 up we had them on the rocks and were unlucky not to go 3-1 but they then scored a worldie against the run of play!.
We battled hard throughout young Dannen had a very good game with Hubbold and Dav excellent but agree with Ash , Rigg was mom although he missed a great headed chance 2nd half!
We played some good stuff at times scored a couple of well worked goals and great to see Bunney smash home that late pen as a draw was the least we deserved against a strong team.
Obvs need to tighten up at the back suppose defence are still becoming accustomed, we gifted them a couple I thought but feel we are playing much better these last 4 games with a good few lads finally coming back in which helps a lot.
Devitt is still feeling his way back and made a few mistakes but then did help set up the 3rd goal and great to see Bobby C back involved.

A great performance and a very enjoyable watch. Yes, scoring four should mean you win a game but conceding four normally means you loose a game as well. I think both teams will be frustrated with the result but it was a fair one in the end. This game showed we have really turned the corner. It's a pity that Saturday's game could be off with the frost on the ground, but let's see.

Absolutely naff all swerve on that shot from Dav, its an absolute howler from the keeper I'd agree with that but we were told by their directors that the keeper had a blinder against Worksop last Saturday and basically won them the game single handed. So because of that I'm taking it as a win that he spilled one for us last night. At this level players make errors and it's nice that one went our way. A great point on the road at a place that is always tough to go to. COYR |

JUST WATCHED THE MATCH HIGHLIGHTS AND IT REALLY WAS END TO END STUFF, WASN'T IT? REDS APPEARED TO GIVE AS GOOD AS THEY GOT AND PLAYED REALLY WELL. GOOD LUCK ON SATURDAY AGAINST HYDE LADS.
