I really don't understand why our league starts a week later than efl and finishes usually end of April. Surely the fewer midweek games the better for everyone. Rescheduled games for the cups and postponements should be the only really fixtures played midweek where possible.

In fact there are 8 games from last Saturday Dec 2 all now programmed to be played on March 9th. Must have left this Saturday in March clear.

The NPL always leave a blank Saturday in March for this very situation. As to the wisdom of it I think most clubs will tell you they disagree with it but ultimately the league have been proved right in this case.
