He didn’t come over as well as previously but as long as the team is winning then he will get the plaudits, hopefully the q and a session will be organised soon and give the staff and fans time to communicate better with each other . As previously stated the reds job is a high profile one at this level and the fan base can be critical, maybe the manager might do some questions on here as well

3 goals in 3 games now for Symington, hopefully the manager will continue with 433 to get the best out of one of the standout players in the division

Suppose it’ll be very quiet on here today because we’ve played well and won convincingly. The doomers will be gutted there’s nothing to complain about ... You could always complain about the positioning of the food van.

The post match interview was a perfect opportunity to take pleasure in an improved team performance, to set out the expectations moving forward and to even admit some mistakes and the lessons learnt. That would have impressed me massively and would have gone a long way to getting me back on board. The way the manager chose instead to make it about individuals and the criticism that he has received, was frankly rather embarrassing. I can only hope that his response was an emotional one and that when he has the time to sit and reflect, he realises that he needs everyone pulling in the same direction. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Are you the clown keVin on Facebook who clearly needs sectioned

The only place I comment is on here and I will be signing off for a while.
I have shared my concerns about the managers tactics (which I think was fully justified) and that I didn’t like the way he came across in his post match press conference yesterday.
That felt appropriate on a forum designed to discuss the football team I support.
No agenda, just my opinion.
For the record I hope the manager turns things around, all I am interested in is the long term success of Workington AFC.

all opinions should be welcome on the forum from genuine supporters nor do people be insulted personally for their differing views. Like everyone it is the long term success of the club that must be the priority and for that to be achieved more not less supporters are essential.

I havent been able to get to a match this season yet so have only followed through here. Have to say though I was unimpressed by the post match interview, whilst on a human level I can understand if you are taking flak you have a natural tendancy to want to fight back, i'd expect a manager to rise above this or at least not sound bitter doing it. There is a correct conduct yourself especially if you want people to have empathy with you.

Only highlights of course, but I'd be starting that Whitby 14 if I was their manager.

Think he's been injured as Whitby posted something saying the one shining light was having him back

Considering the stick he's had to take from some quarters, I thought the manager's after-match comments were measured and restrained.

Just listened to Mark Fells interview with Walshy on Cumbria Crack. It’s night and day from the one the club released. If the club had released that interview instead of their own I doubt anyone could have had a grumble. It was honest, informative and most importantly no sly digs at the fans.
Every interview with Walshy that Ive listened to has been great; probing questions, injury updates, new players etc. the club should seriously consider using these as the official post match interviews; unless there are licensing issues with Cumbria Crack. Unfortunately a lot of supporters probably don’t know about Cumbria Crack and the only source they have is the official club output.
