Dont think anybody expected a definitive statement from the club but to those contemplating travelling to the game early potential of inspection would have been appreciated

NPL twitter is reporting that tomorrow's game is OFF. Nothing from our own people of course, other than to retweet the NPL announcement. More non communication from the club to its loyal fans. The club were informed by email only at 10:40pm, and I presume, posted on social media by the NPL. Alec found out shortly after when someone informed him and he logged on to his email to confirm. He then contacted all relevant parties, manager, match offials, club officials etc, cancelled the bus, cancelled the 9am pitch inspection. I was sent an email at 10:50pm but was tucked up in bed. The notification was posted on the club website at 7:50am. Unfortunately we don't have a social media night shift, but volunteers are welcome!

Surprised so many games called off in lancs and Yorkshire. Weather not that bad down here at 3pm. Bit blustery and drizzle but that's all. League going to much h&s, it's not cricket!

You must have a micro climate in Leyland Mark! It's been non stop torrential rain in Accrington since about 12 noon! I'm amazed Accy Stanley played to a finish today but to be fair they've spent a lot of money on a new playing surface.

How we looking on weather for this? was considering driving up from Knutsford after work but could do with early notice if its on/off Lunchtime pitch inspection Ash, but if the rain persists in West Cumbria overnight and through Tuesday morning I would say it's 50/50 whether the match will be on.
As soon as a decision is received one of us will update this thread.

Ramsbottom v's Ossett United is off, due to a waterlogged pitch.

A hard fought game on a difficult heavy surface, at this point in time winning is everything and although we lacked quality at times the effort and commitment was outstanding. No complaints from me apart from a poor turnout, the people of the town need to switch off their sky sports and support this team

Great to get the win in what sounded a really tough test from Mossley. Got to agree with westworld, attendances have been poor considering. Live footy on sky, Carlisle at home and weather doesn't help and now this bloody Coronavirus! Can we do a reduced admission promotion for one of our remaining home games? Team deserve more support.
