I think there are 5 stand out teams in this league, radcliffe, warrington r,worksop, macclesfield and marine. Two of them will be promoted this season and possibly 2 of the others next season. That leaves us with a couple of seasons to change our ageing squad into promotion candidates.

What a great signing Joe Bunney has turned out to be. His girlfriend has provided the biggest PR coup for the Reds in recent years and . . . . he can score from penalties!!!

Absolutely baffled by a few of these comments. Anyone who brings around good publicity for the club should be applauded. Workington AFC isn't just the men's side. It's the women, it's the development squad, it's the disability team and it's all the junior (male and female) sides too! Anyone with half a brain knows the more people in the community the club can reach the more the club can grow!

This thread has certainly created interest/response and probably only KeithStoke could generate more.

I now understand that Ella is Ella Toone and she is a female professional footballer. Who knew? Not me anyway. Good for her. I don't know how I was supposed to know that though as it's not a sport I follow or have any interest in. That does not mean I think the sort doesn't have merit for those who follow it though.
The next question is "why was Ella Toone at BP?".

We had an extrA 90 on the gate on Tuesday compared to today's match. She can come to every game if that's the effect! |
