Unfortunately, 1874 Northwich were unable to do us the favour we needed v Rylands and we head into Saturday still trailing by a single point. If the unlikely happens, and Bootle take a point or more at Rylands, this will be our final game of the season. The shorter odds however would suggest this is more of a shooting practice session for upcoming play offs. Still, we have to make absolutely sure we have done our bit should Rylands not manage to defeat Bootle.

May be a somewhat lengthy bow to draw but none the less...........Remarkably, Bootle have only been involved in one drawn game all season - and it was away............at Borough Park back on 7 December. They led that game twice before it finished 2-2. Let's hope the law of averages is on our side and they manage another draw today. Come on you Bootle.
